The Computational Biology Lab (CBL) at National Central University invites applications for Postdoctoral Fellow/Research Associate positions in the fields of computational biology and brain modeling. The candidate should have a solid foundation in basic physics, analysis, statistics and good programming ability. Knowledge in molecular biology and/or neural science will be an added asset.

The CBL currently has several ongoing projects:

• study of protein folding and function by massively distributed computing;
• biosequence analysis for recognition of coding and signal sequences;
• molecular evolution based on analysis of whole genomes; brain modeling.

Tenure is one to two years. Salary will depend on qualification according to standard National Science Council regulations but should be above NT$60K/month. This invitation is open till the positions are filled.
